7 Color Series Extended Sensor Wiring Harness Instructions

1. Red Wire – Connects to any switched 12 volt source, for example, your car’s ignition source, radio

circuit, or fuse box. This source will turn on and off with the gauge.

2. Yellow Wire – Connects to any constant 12 volt source, for example, your car battery or you can tap

your fuse box using GlowShift’s Expandable Circuit. This is the memory wire and will allow the gauge

to recall what color was last displayed on the gauge face.

3. Short Black Wire – Connects to any ground source. Connect this wire to any ground source on the

vehicle or you can connect it directly to the negative side of the battery.

4. Long Black Wire – Connects to the sensor ground connection. This wire connects your gauge’s

sensor ground connection.

5. Long Green Wire – Connects to sensor signal wire. This wire is connected to your gauge’s electronic

sensor signal wire.

6. Orange Wire (Optional) – Connect the orange wire to your positive 12 volt headlamp source wire to

dim the gauges while operating at night.

Note: This wire harness is not compatible with GlowShift’s 7 Color Series Boost, Vacuum, Air Pressure, and

Volt Gauges, as well as GlowShift’s Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Gauges.
